A forest of cypress and cedar trees in Keihoku, Kyoto, has been carefully passed down from generation to generation. We, Keihoku Lumberjack Village, as a forestry family in Keihoku, Kyoto, wish to hand down this forest to the future.
Currently, most of the processed wood products used in Japan are imported products made from overseas timber. Keihoku Lumberjack Village is committed to promoting domestic timber by centralizing all processes from mountain management and timber harvesting to processing and commercialization.
We are working to “protect mountains and nurture villages” by promoting the use of domestic timber.
