In this immersive experience, you will design and paint your own Japanese craft item—such as a chopstick rest, small plate, or decorative tray—inspired by seasonal motifs, nature, and traditional good-luck patterns. From graceful cranes and playful frogs, to floral patterns and komon designs, participants are free to bring their own imagination into each creation.

Learn about the meanings behind Japanese symbols, motifs, and traditional color combinations
Receive hands-on instruction from Norikazu Kizawa, who has spent years mastering glass-based painting techniques
Choose from a variety of base items (e.g., chopstick rests, plates, mini trays) to craft your own
Use glass pigments, brushes, and stencils to create your design
Take home your completed work in a special gift box—a meaningful souvenir or heartfelt present
