京都は私にとって...

Kyoto for me is...

Hello! I’m currently a Communication Intern at SIP Corp., the company behind this E-Commerce Site and the Vegetable Sommelier Izakaya Togiya. This internship has been a unique opportunity to immerse myself in the heart of Kyoto while contributing to meaningful projects.

To me, Kyoto is more than just a city – it’s a living museum, a quiet inspiration, and a place that invites you to slow down and observe. From the very first day, I was struck by how seamlessly ancient traditions coexist with modern life. Whether I’m walking past a centuries-old temple on my way to work, or enjoying a creative dish that fuses local ingredients with innovation, Kyoto constantly surprises me with its depth and harmony.

What I love most about Kyoto is its atmosphere – calm but full of character, reserved yet incredibly welcoming. Every corner tells a story, and every encounter teaches you something new. As a foreign intern, I expected to feel like an outsider, but instead, I found kindness, curiosity, and a shared sense of passion for culture and craftsmanship.

Being here isn’t just about professional growth; it’s also about personal discovery. Kyoto has taught me to pay more attention to the little things – the textures, the flavors, the silences, and the rituals that shape everyday life. It’s a city that doesn’t ask to impress, but simply to be felt.
