Kyoto to me is...

Konnichiwa! I am currently working as an Intern at SIP Co. Pvt. Ltd. and handling the Digital Marketing & Social Media Advertising for 'Kyoto Tabigokoro'.

To me, Kyoto is a beautiful hot pot of culture, history and peace. When I first came to Japan on a study trip, I thought Kyoto was rather small and didn’t have much to offer. But even after living here this time in Japan for over a month, I feel like I have not even scratched the surface, even after exploring it every single day. There are serene shrines around every corner, picturesque alleys beside every road, and fresh air everywhere. 

While interning with 京都旅心, I got to discover Kyoto, right from the views of other tourists to the shopping districts of Teramachi. I got to see what exactly we are doing at 京都旅心 - bringing the beauty of Kyoto to the world, through every single thing we do. Whether it’s showcasing a festival on our social media that one can witness nowhere but in Kyoto, or selling art pieces that are made by Kyoto artisans, we are opening the gateway to this hospitable culture to the entire world.

So, when you come to Kyoto, Kyoto Tabigokoro will be waiting to show you the unseen bits of this wonderful place. And even if you can’t come to Kyoto, we’ll ensure that you get to have a piece of Kyoto in your home, forever.
